StarPocket Client
A Windows app for installing, updating and launching games from StarPocket Games LLC.
It can currently install, update and launch PocketRoles, a role mod for Among Us.
Games released by StarPocket Games LLC in the future are also planned to be playable from this app.
How to install
Unzip it and open StarPocket Client.exe. It isn’t signed, so the first time you open it, the blue “Windows protected your PC” screen appears (“App:” shows StarPocket Client.exe). For what to click, see “If ‘Windows protected your PC’ appears”. How to tell the real file from a fake is in the FAQ. Moving from the old launcher: see here.
System requirements
For Windows 10 (1903 or later) and 11. It uses .NET Framework 4.8 and Microsoft Edge WebView2 (both come with Windows 11; on a PC without WebView2, the app shows a button that opens Microsoft’s official page).
