Aegis anti-cheat is here

v0.5.3 adds the "Aegis" anti-cheat. During games in unregistered rooms (rooms without roles), it watches the traffic that reaches the host's PC and finds actions that cannot happen in normal Among Us. Nothing is installed on the players' devices.

What it does when it finds something

• Removed on the first time (and kept out of this room): a kill by a role that cannot kill, an Impostor killing an Impostor, a vent by a role that cannot vent, using an ability the player does not have (shapeshift, vanish), an Impostor completing a task.
• Removed on the second time: a living player chatting outside a meeting.
• Only told to the host: things that can also come from lag or spoofing (a kill by a dead player, kills that are too fast or too far, teleporting and more).
• When someone is removed, one line appears in everyone's chat. VIP and above are never removed automatically.

Callout notice

• When someone keeps naming Impostors in meetings that nobody could know yet, only the host's screen is told. Nobody is removed.

Translation in unregistered rooms too

• Only while a player who uses another language is in the room, the others' messages are translated into that language and sent to everyone.

Host commands

• /ac (/aegis) shows the records, turns it on and off, and runs tests (/ac test).
